Description: Goebel M.I. Hummel # 47 3/0 "Goose Girl" 4" Tall Full Bee (TMK-2) Closed Edition - Small flea bite on bottom edge of base. HUM 47 3/0 Goose Girl - TMK-2 Height 4" Tall This hummel was originally modeled by master sculptor Arthur Meller in 1936. There are some size and color variations between older and newer models. There are also variations with the older versions having a blade of grass between the geese and newer ones without. This listing is an older version, without the blade of grass, from the 1950s with the full bee marking. The original name of this hummel was "Little Gooseherd" in some older catalogs. Hummel stands at 4 inches tall. I included a picture of the original artwork for reference, not included with the sale. Has "" Full Bee Marking (TMK-2) stamped in blue on underside of base. Has "Germany" stamped in black on underside of base. Incised hummel number "47 3/0", Factory Control Number "74" on underside of base and incised "M.J. Hummel" on top side of base. Does Not have the blade of grass between the geese. Hummel is 4" Tall Hummel is in Good condition considering it's age! No Repairs! No Touch Ups! There is a very tiny chip/flea bite on the bottom edge of base, difficult to see. There is a minimal amount of crazing under the dress and on base, extremely difficult to see without a bright light and magnification. May have a little dust from sitting in the China Cabinet for decades. I did not want to damage it inadvertently by cleaning it. Buyer to pay actual shipping expense determined by eBay.
