The lava cameo is one of the deepest carved cameos we have seen and is a masterwork of cameo artistry. The cameo is set in a gold and gold filled setting. The cameo brooch is a wonderful large size of 1 5/8 inches long. The brooch can be easily converted to a pendant if desired. The brooch dates to circa 1850-1900.
