Description: For sale is a real deal OEM GM Holley 4 barrel carb for 1969 Camaro Z/28 models with the optional dual 4 barrel Crossram intake. The numbers stamped into the choke tower are as follows: 3957859 List 4295 891. The 3957859 is the GM part number. The "List 4295" is the Holley model number. The 891 is the date code. The Holley 4295 carb was made specifically for the 1969 Z/28 crossram intake. It was one of the first "double pumper" carbs ever made by Holley, long before they were available aftermarket. The 891 date code decodes as the 1st week of August, 1968. That's right, this is a real deal early 1969 carb body! This listing is for the full carburetor as shown. The carb body is in very good condition overall. There are no breaks, repairs, or modifications. The metering blocks are the correct and original 5882 blocks. The bowls are also in good condition the rear bowl is specific to this carburetor with the sight plug on the opposite side of the inlet as shown. The body was painted blue at one point, but would easily restore back to original patina. This was used in a high performance setup, and later removed and stored on a shelf for over 35 years. This would be an excellent candidate to restore, and if you have a matching 891 carb, this will be a valuable addition to a numbers matching set. Pictures show the actual item you will receive.
