Description: Offered in this Auction is ARMANI Figurine LADY WITH PEACOCK # 876C from the Florentine Garden Collection. This porcelain statue features a graceful lady draped in a floral dress with serene face framed by auburn hair. A colorful peacock sits on her shoulder with tail feathers cascading to her feet. Lady with Peacock measures 16" tall including the attached 5.5" x 5.5" base. Impressed in the porcelain base is "G. Armani" in script, the date of 1991, and "Florence". In blue ink one finds "N" topped with crown, generally attributed to Capodimonte. The peacock's neck has been re-attached by our professional restoration staff. Aside from this minor flaw Lady with Peacock is a masterful work of art deserving of prominent display.
