Description: An unframed original pastel painting by Margaret Dyer. We're nearing the end of the year and I am cleaning out my studio again. What hasn't sold in the galleries, demos from my workshops and classes, sketches...they are all being sold at fire-sale prices to make space for more work in 2025. Margaret Dyer was awarded Best of Show at the 2021 American Impressionist Society Associate Members Exhibition; she won the Best Impressionist Painting Award at the 2019 National Oil and Acrylics Painters Society Small Painting Exhibition. She is a Master Pastelist with the Pastel Society of America (PSA); she is in the Masters Circle in the International Association of Pastel Societies (IAPS); and she is a Member of Excellence in the Southeastern Pastel Society (SPS). In 1960, Margaret's family moved from Long Island, NY, to Atlanta, GA, where she now lives and works in her home studio. She attended the Atlanta College of Art at the High Museum and furthered her studies under painters Roman Chatov, Kate Fetterolf and continues her studies with Jim Richards. She has made her living for over 30 years selling her work and teaching across the USA, Canada, France and Italy.
