Program is in nice condition except for spine wear, as you can see in the photos. Signed 45 years ago, the signature has aged nicely and is still bold. As an actor, Merighi was known for Simon Boccanegra (1976), Gala Performance (1963) and Prestige de la Musique (1963). This program was presumably signed after a performance of Tosca, on July 18, 1978, at the Colon Theater. The Colon Theater of Buenos Aires, Argentina, which is 115 years old, is one of the most important opera houses of the world.
