Description: This is a precious figurine from "The Young Collection" by About Face Designs titled "Smitty's Catfish Pond", inspired by the famous artist Gilbert Young's African America Art. Three young boys are on the banks of Smitty's Pond, fishing in the summertime. I believe it's made of resin and sits on a base with felt on the bottom. There are two fishing poles included that are loose, one fits in the grass and the other is held by one of the boys. It was made in 1984 and is numbered 130209. There is a tag on the bottom that shows the date and number along with the makers information. It also has Gilbert Young stamped in a circle on the back of the figurine. There was no box included when I found it. It's in nice condition and measures 7 1/2" wide, 5 1/2" deep and 6" tall.
