It is part of the sale. ——————— CONDITION: Knife: The knife is in excellent vintage condition for its age. Some minor dings …..no rust. The blade has some minor scratches that may not be seen in the pictures. ————————- Sheath: The sheath is in good condition with a major (Unusual) modification to the tip of the piece. The previous owner created an extension that allows for a tie down. When not in use a bolt can be screwed in as seen in the pictures. It’s totally unusual and obviously not for the average knife guy. However, if you are in the woods and want the sheath totally secure to your leg I can understand why this was invented. SEE PICTURE # …..4. It comes with a leather lace, however, the new owner may want to place a thicker leather cow hide lace for extra strength. The snap works.
