Description: For sale today is the rare and out-of-print (oop) Devil's Due Publishing trade paperback (tpb)/graphic novel G.I. Joe: Storm Shadow: Solo (Volume 1) by Larry Hama and Mark Robinson, published in 2008. Collects GI Joe Storm Shadow (2007) #1-5. Written by Larry Hama. Art by Mark Robinson and David Hueso. Friend and enemy. Hero and villain. Criminal and victim. The life of Thomas Arashikage has taken him down paths that have allied him with both G.I. Joe and Cobra! Now he's away from both sides of the war, and getting into trouble all his own! I am not a comics grader, but I try to be as thorough as possible when assessing books for any flaws. I don't believe in using a number grade system - to me they are mostly utilized as a method to be ambiguous about exact condition and/or individual imperfections - but I do attempt to describe anything other than minor cover shelf-scuffing/scratching in detail. If a certain flaw discussed below does not mention that it affects inside pages, then it does not. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- This copy is in very good condition, with a solid spine and excellent inside pages (photo#16 example). It has a few primarily lighter and almost entirely external signs of wear. **Photo#3:-Spine edge: Indent near its middle, shows as a small indent on each adjacent cover (photos#10,11 w/illumination). **Photo#4: -Upper spine corner: Light scuffing. **Photo#5: -Lower spine corner: Light scuffing. **Photo#6: -Front cover top edge: 2 tiny scuffs towards spine corner, otherwise little if any shelf-scuffing/wear.-Outer corner: Tiny scuff/bend, goes thru ~8 pages lightly. **Photo#7:-Front cover bottom edge: 2 small scuffs around its middle, otherwise light if any shelf-wear/scuffing. -Outer corner: Tiny scuff/bend, goes thru ~15 pages lightly. **Photo#8: -Back cover top edge: Small scuff towards spine corner, otherwise little if any shelf-wear/scuffing.-Outer corner: Tiny scuff/bend, goes thru ~20 pages lightly. **Photo#9:-Back cover bottom edge: Tiny scuff towards spine corner, otherwise light if any shelf-scuffing/wear.-Outer corner: Small crease/scuff/bend, goes thru ~20 pages as a light bend. **Additionally: Front cover possesses 2 tiny indents/depressions near its center (photo#12 w/illumination), and another near the bottom edge's middle. Back cover has a light ~1.5" vertical indent/depression near the spine edge towards the lower corner (photo#13 w/illumination), a lighter depression extends vertically from there towards the top edge (photo#14 w/illumination). Book has top and bottom outer quadrant flexes/bends (photo#15). ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I both buy to read as well as sell TPBs on here, so I understand how aggravating it is to receive a comic damaged in transit.
