Description: Germany 18 Different Inflation Stamps and 4 Inflation Era Banknotes The stamps are sound, with F-VF centering and are in either MH or MNH condition. The banknotes are used. These original stamps and banknotes from the Germany hyperinflation period of late 1921-1923.You can see how quickly inflation accelerated. It started with going from a few Marks in 1921/1922, but by February 1923, huge banknotes were necessary and by August 10 Million, 50 Million and even larger notes were required. Near the end of the period, a wheel barrow full of notes hardly bought a loaf of bread! Inflation was so bad many times they didn't even print the backs of the notes. Very Historic and Great for Framing. If you win more than one lot, I'll combine for lowest postage.
