Description: This is an original photo album that belonged to a very High Up Officer in the SS . He was Rudolf Batz . His photo is among the 90 + photos in the album . This album came to the United States with his daughter .It was found in the house she lived in ( after her death ) . Also found are many letters exchanged between father and daughteras they were very close . Lots of family photos with the letters . Batz fled Germany after the war and managed to live in seclusion until his arrest in 1961 . Before his trial he killed himself . Many of the photos have notes written below them in German telling what or where the photo was taken . The photos are mountedbut a couple were loose and I believe some may have writing on the back of the photo . The other photos and letters are available too if someone is interested in the story of this man and his family .It will be packed well and insured .
