Description: German Helmet Stahlhelm M42 Pattern Ebay note: There are no banned symbols either shown or hidden Please check out my other auctions Original WW2 manufactured steel helmet not a modern Chinese or Indian replica. This is a genuine German helmet from WW2 manufactured somewhen between 1942 and 1945. Internally at the rear the metal is stamped ckl 62. The batch number beneath looks like 5642 but its quite faint. Head size unmarked but is around 55 to 56cms After the war this helmet ended up in Czechoslovakia. The Czech government then replaced the original German liners and straps with their own versions. Helmet has been professionally resprayed in WW2 German dark green Please study the photos carefully as they form part of the description. NOTE The display head is NOT included in the auction.
