Period full blind stamped leather binding, raised bands, contrasting black leather title label. Original metal clasps. Binding remains tight and sound, age darkening and staining, small splits at joint ends, boards firmly and strongly attached. One of the clasps is detached due to dried leather. Interior contents display pleasing age patina, with light to moderate spotting throughout. Portrait frontis with small old stain & burn hole (due to nails from cover clasps). Any age flaws are easy to overlook or forgive. Book measures: 8 1/2" H X 7" W. [V2350].
