The front and back boards are solidly connected to the spine, although there is, for all intents and purposes, a complete separation between the leather part of the spine as shown in photo and the binding behind. However, the book is still bound well. Front and back boards Are in good condition. Front and back hinges are attached. All pages are bound tightly and turn easily. Minimal staining and discoloration. No illustrations. this Bible was formally owned and part of the collection of the evangelical and reformed historical society, in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Questions are welcome. Packed carefully with loving care and shipped via USPS media mail at no cost to buyer. By the time I ship the book, if the leather spine piece has become completely detached, I will wrap it separately, with extra care and ship it with the Bible.
