Description: This is a German Army Panzer Troop Private Rank Chevron (Gefreitenwinkel fur Angehorige der Panzertruppe). This is the private chevron for members of the armored troops. These were to be used on the black armored jacket. It is a cohesively woven silver braid with black borders as an angle (with fabric triangle). The reverse is covered with a black gauze. I believe that this is a early produced chevron. It is an unworn, mint condition. NOTE: These are all pieces from my 30 year personal collection of WW2 Militaria that I am now liquidating. They are all authentic unless otherwise noted in the description.
