Description: Up for sale is a very interesting vintage photo of Gerald Ford, in formal dress (white jacket, black bow tie, corsage, etc.), speaking in front of a microphone in rather animated fashion. He is gesturing with his hands, as if he is demonstrating the size of something. It appears that he is telling some type of story or anecdote. I don't know the date or occasion of this photo but am inclined to believe that it was taken during the two years (1974 - 76) during which Ford served as the 38th President of the United States. The photo itself measures about 8.125 inches tall by about 7.5 inches wide. It is in black and white with a matte (non-glossy) finish. The photo is attached to a matt that measures just under 14 inches wide by just under 11 inches tall. (It would fit into any 11 x 14 inch frame.) Provenance: I obtained this photo from a Metairie, Louisiana estate. There is no indication of the photographer, the date of the photo, or the occasion.
