Description: Beautiful Georgian(late 1700's to early 1800's) Heart Shaped Garnet Pendant with Pearls. Tests as 9-10 ct. This piece was originally a brooch and it has been converted with hidden chain loops on the back.The stones are all closed foil backed stones which was typical of Georgian jewelry because of their more primitive cutting techniques compared to the Victorian era and later . Light scratching is observed under a loop but minimal and not observed by the naked eye. The tiny pearls are all white in color., there is one that is a little dull but not evident when looking with the naked eye.Amazingly good condition for the age, someone took very good care of this.
