The server has a decorative pierced design on server end and shell design on handle end. Marked on reverse with hallmarks for Edinburgh, Scotland, date letter for 1820 and with maker's stamp we believe to be Andrew Wilkie who was an apprentice of John Ziegler in 1805. Measures 11 3/4" long and 2 3/4" wide. Weighs 155 grams. This nice server is in excellent Estate condition with no noted damage or flaws and reflects only minor signs of normal wear commensurate with age.
