Description: These are a lovely pair of antique spoons made by Alice and George Burrows. Alice Burrows was the widow of silversmith George Burrows and after his death, she registered as a silversmith with her son, George II, in 1801. She was an active silversmith until her passing in 1819. These attractive spoons are a fine example of her work. The pair of spoons feature a berries and leaf design, popular at the time. Measuring about 8 3/4" long and the pair weigh in at about 97 grams, the spoon has the looks like blueberry design with a nice etching on the handles and hammer work in the bowls Hallmarked on the back of the handles, "Lion, Shield, I, Head Duty Mark, and AB.GB", the spoons are in awesome antique condition please review the photos and ask questions before biddingshipping is free I only ship to the USA
