Description: Original County Series Geological Survey of Scotland Map Renfrewshire XII. NW, covering the town of Paisley, on a scale of Six Inches to One Statute Mile. The map was originally geologically surveyed during the 1800s, revised and thereafter published in 1921 by Sir Aubrey Strahan. The map itself is printed on thick paper and measures approximately 46cm x 30cm, with titles, notes, legends and scale bars on the wide margins. The whole sheet measures approximately 57cm x 42cm. The map is in reasonable condition, but has been folded down the centre and has a reference number overmarked in the top right margin (see photos). It is ideal for framing and would make very impressive wall art. (Postage outwith the UK to be confirmed.) Seller Ref: 74
