Description: This Genuine USMC 2 man combat shelter by Diamond with woodland/ tan fly is a must-have for any militaria collector. Made in the United States, this original piece is perfect for those interested in personal field gear. It has been previously used, it does not come with a repair kit and is still in serviceable condition . Don’t expect a brand new tent! The tent has been used in the field and has wear points from use. A common example is that the sleeve fabric that guides the poles may have minor tears but does not affect the effectiveness of the poles .The photos show three separate tears along the pole sleeves highlited with black marker line and dollar bill . The woodland tent fly is in poor condition with a rubber like tan coating and like most tarp material slowly degrades and can develop a sticky surface. Storing any tent without drying properly will accelerate its degradation. Expect to add a piece of seam tape or reglue something occasionally on the rain fly.Keep in mind It is the design and functionality built into the tent which make it so desirable. The shelter is perfect for those who appreciate the theme of militaria and is a great addition to any collection. This tent is government issue and made for all season use. It sets up and takes down quickly and weighs about 10 lbs for convenient transport. Includes three poles,reversible rain fly in tan or woodland that can be used as a shelter independent of the main tent. 8 stakes. This tent although used is serviceable with all zippers functional.
