Description: This listing is for one (1) original Olympus lens cap for an Olympus PEN camera with a 43.5mm filter thread. It will also fit others with the same filter size like the Trip 35 or 35RC, however the original PEN lens cap says PEN on it and those don't, if you're a collector looking for an authentic match to your camera. These lens caps are hard to find. You will receive one similar to the photo, in good condition overall, with some light cosmetic wear (and there is a pattern that is actually original to the molding that looks like scratches, but is not). There is no serious damage and it will fit properly (these slip off easily, they don't stay on tight, so for example it might fall off in a handbag or similar, which is not a defect if it occurs). Some people believe that capping their lens prevents the selenium photocell from depleting due to light exposure. I think humidity is the real cause of weak meters, but that is just my opinion. Regardless, if you want to complete the accessory kit with an original lens cap that will protect your lens from dirt, dust, scratches, and maybe meter depletion if I'm wrong, this is what you need.
