Description: Each purchase is for 1 set of four 4" x 4" x 29" genuinely hand turned walnut legs. Each artisan hand turned by eye tape measure and not a pattern. This makes each leg truly unuque and authentic works of art like was found in the antiques of old. Due to the the thickness variations of the 8/4 rough lumber the legs may mill up below a 4" square block but will never go under 3 3/4" and the entire set will be milled to the same size. I sand them to 150 grit so they can be painted or stained. Since these legs are actually hand turned they will have slight variations but typically it takes calipers to tell the difference. The same types of variances that can be found in antique furniture.The legs pictured are samples of the legs you will get, not the actual legs. I put 30 years of experience in being as selective as possible with the placement of any knots to minimize this as much as possible. The kind of care absent in copy lathe production shops.
