Description: The covers are a bit edge worn, rubbed and scuffed and there is some soiling and areas that have darkened some. The spine is scuffed, mostly darkened with soiling and there are some cracks beginning to form and the small plate over the heel is beginning to come lose. There is soiling to the page edges, there is a name written on the front paste-down and the front and back end papers are soiled and have damp stains. All the pages have damp stains with the front and back of the book having more and the more to the center you get the damp stains are less. There are hand written notes in pencil and page 5 has what looks like newspaper clippings that are really an amendment from March 6 1867 to an act for relieving soldiers from paying a bounty tax of some sort.
