In consequence, after a few casts the snood will be too long to clip down and the rig will no longer function. To prevent this, the Genie SRT Spring compresses during the cast, reducing the strech in the line and so helping to maintain the snoods original length, cast after cast. The SRT Spring also keeps the hook under optimum tension in the bait clip during the cast and gives dynamic release! The Solution is to include a weak point in your rig, and if the sinker gets stuck you control where the line will snap, so you only loose the sinker and not the rig!
