May be used on some other models from the 1950s, pls check the service notes, or the wiring of the tonearm. 4 wire stereo has two signal wires and 2 return groundwires. Garrard's Description The Garrard Type MPM5 Multi-Purpose pickup case has been designed for use on the Garrard Model RC210 and Type A automatic record changer. This pickup case will, with the aid of the accessories supplied with it. enable a wide range of pickup cartridges to be fitted. A thin bakelite section known as a knockout, which can be easily broken away, is provided in the front of the case through which can pass the knob of turnover type cartridges and a hole is located in the top of the case, covered by the Garrard name plate, for the knob of the turn round stylus type of cartridge. As this pickup case can easily be plugged in and out of the pickup arm, single stylus cartridges can be fitted having a separate case for each type of cartridge. Cream-Ivory plastic with a black plastic handle. Brass sub-plate on top, and comes with the brass distance posts and two 1/4" cartridge mounting screws. Pins silver plated. 4 cartridge leads. Headshell in close to new condition: Plastic is clean and glossy. All wires and clips connected securely. Brass parts not tarnished. No chips cracks or other problems.
