Description: Now here is a poster only a kid could love, an original Japanese B1 (20" x 28") poster of particular interests to budding anatomists heralding the arrival of the last gasp of the original Gamera series, Gamera vs Zigra (1971). About as juvenile as a monster movie can get, the film simply repeated the basic plot of the previous two Gamera films with a different and typically nasty foe. This time it was Zigra, a silver beaked fishy thing that spouts hyperbole like a WWE reject, telling the humans that they are "ugly" while he is "beautiful", but ultimately suffering the humiliation of having his dorsal fins played like a xylophone by the jovial Gamera. This relatively scarce poster depicts Gamera's fan base at the time (10 year-olds) cheering him on, with several action-packed scenes interspersed between anatomically precise depictions of Gamera's gizzards and Zigra's cloaca.
