Lt Fasih survived the war and rose to the rank of General and, in 1955, became the Chief of Staff for Land Forces. Published in Turkey, this 242 page softback book includes a dust jacket, and a number of black and white photographs. It is a rare book, and has garnered critical acclaim from historians for its rare look into the wartime experiences of Turkish front line soldiers and officers. The book is pre-owned but in Like New condition with only some minor wear to cover and edges of the dust jacket. It has no marked, damaged, or missing pages (see photographs).
