Description: Full Vintage Sparkling Pepsi:Cola Double Dot 8oz Bottle Flat River, Mo Embossed Definitely not an expert in dating Pepsi bottles but thankfully I have access to the internet. Based on my research this bottle is from the 1940’s (I’m thinking 1948) The bottle is made by Owen-Illinois and is Duraglas. It contains 8 ounces of very flat Pepsi. There’s a label from some unknown vendor for $18. When this bottle was purchased for $18 is also unknown and based on inflation being as crazy as it is 18 dollars in 1976 would equal approximately $100 today! Lastly this is a fragile and valuable item and extra care in packaging is required to ensure safe delivery. As such the bottle will be placed within a box with ample bubble wrap and other materials and that box placed inside another, again bubble wrap etc. Even if dropped the bottle should remain unbroken, well unless dropped three stories or some other absurd distance.
