The illustration on the front cover is great and there are additional line drawing illustrations inside. The back cover has Holman's Department Store of Pacific Grove, California printed on it. This would have been a very handy book for the homemaker of the 1940s. I have provided some example pictures of some of the pages. The lady that collected this did so in the 1910's, 1920's, 1930's and 1940's.
