Description: A nice trinket or small dresser box. It appears to be French faience or Austrian majolica with a high gloss glaze and ormolu lid mounts. It has a Classical scene of 3 ladies on the lid with one playing a lyre. It is a squat "bombe" shape and is 3-1/2" across the base, 2-3/4" across the lid and 2" high. The only marks are some hand incised numbers on the base. The condition is very good with no damage. The lid swings smoothly. There is some minor wear on the edges of the lid design.
