Rare design featuring 6 white wells for oysters and one center well for lemon or sauce. Between wells an orange coloured starfish is resting on turquoise basket ware base. Made in France in famous Sarreguemines workshop known now among collectors for their beautiful vintage majolica creations in glazed ceramic. Signed "Sarreguemines" and "France". This piece is dating back to around 1920-1940. Dimensions:Diameter of each plate: about 9,4" / 24 cm, weight 575 grams / 20.2 ozCondition: Very good antique condition. Some slight areas of wear off to glazing. A few areas with glaze surface crazing. A few dots and imperfections coming from manufacturing process can be found on some areas.
