The Fredman technique is utilized for mic’ing guitar cabs; it involves blending the two microphones to dial in a great guitar tone with less “fizz” by utilizing phase cancellation. Put one mic at the center of the speaker cone and the Fredman Clip will automatically have the other mic at 55° giving one bright tone and one darker tone to blend with. It really does sound fantastic and gives you more freedom of control over the sound you're going for. After multiple tests, I've dialed in the settings for these clips to be super strong with enough flexibility when popping the mics in and out.
