The acronym F.A.I.P. stands for Fine Arts In Plaster, a company in Brooklyn, NY that produced lighting and other objects using fired plaster/chalkware. A Stylized Figure of a Woman with a Squeezebox and the matching lamp with a Man and a Panpipe. Both figures painted a very pale pink, and the base painted bone white.The original fiberglass shades with stitching are white with subtle striations. Dimensions: Height: approx. 23.5 in. (including original brass shade harp, shade & finial)Base: 6.5 in. L x 6 in. W Height to top of socket: 14.25 in. Shades: 12 in. H x 10.25 in. DiameterWeight, Pair, unpacked: 11 lbs., 3 oz.
