Description: Circa 1880 mounted albumen photo of Giotto's Campanile, the freestanding bell tower that is part of the Cathedral complex at the Piazza del Duomo in Florence. Photo by Fratelli Alinari, one of the earliest (and still running) photo studios in Italy. Albumen measures 9.75" by 7.25" and is mounted on a thick board, total dimensions 14" by 11".
