In fact, this is the first and only time the outer shipping box and styrofoam casing has ever been opened to show the complete original packaging as it was done by Franklin Mint. You can also see the paperwork documentation including the Certificate of Authenticity for the Corvette. Once these pictures were taken, the styrofoam casing and outer box were resealed. The last image is a factory image to see what the model looks like outside of the box.The 50th Anniversary Corvette is hand assembled with over 125 separate components, and is hand finished. It is further certified that the model is officially licensed by General Motors and is painted in Anniversary Red featuring the Corvette 50th Anniversary Emblem and Indy pace car decals throughout the car!
