Description: Vintage Art Deco ashtray figurine / sculpture by Frankart and German American sculptor Arthur von Frankenberg (1889-1950). In green enameled metal produced circa 1920s. Depicting a nude female figure with arms outstretched and legs posed in a saucy kick (the figurine would hhave supported a circular fitted art pottery ashtray bowl).Surmounting circular bases with scalloped design. Red felt on bottom - looks like it may have replaced original felt. The artist's subject was a noted English model of the period named Leone Osborne. Stamped to base FRANKART T-301 (C) 1922. Beware reproductions - only the original bears the Frankart name. Dimensions: 9.75” high - about 4.5” deep and 4.5” wide Condition: Good overall condition- a few small areas of enamel paint loss - largest is on the upraised leg where ashtray bowl would have rested.
