Description: Frank Lloyd Wright might be one of the best known architects in America. Liberty Graphics once carried a line of shirts authorized by the Frank Lloyd Foundation. This was discontinued some years ago and I have limited new inventory from that FLW Collection. In 1927 FLW designed a series of twelve monthly covers based on seasonal themes for Liberty Magazine When finished Liberty judged the covers to be too avant-garde to be published. The magazine returned Wright's presentation drawings and they became the basis for later interpretations executed in diverse media. In 1937 "July Fourth" became the only design in this series to make it's way onto the cover of a nationally distributed publication, Town and Country. Liberty graphics is known for attention to detail, consistent quality and concern for the environment. To acknowledge the last they use water based inks that are long lasting on the shirt but easier on the environment. Made from 100% cotton knit fabric, this shirt is preshrunk, heavyweight, non-iron, wrinkle-resistant, and suitable for all seasons.
