LEGEND OF THE WEST FRANK KRAMER A BICYCLE CHAMPION FOR TWENY FOUR YEARS Folks, Frank Kramer was born in Evansville, Indiana on November 21, 1880. He became a world famous bicyclist for over twenty four years. He competed with people such as Major Taylor, Mr. Krebs, Mr. Bedell, Iver Lawson Bobby Walthour, Arthur Spence and Jackie Clark. He had invested his average $20,000 a year discretely. His investment judgments as good as his cycling instinct. But there was a rumor going the Jersey that he would go into politics. His name was mentioned frequently but he refused to be nominated or appointed while he was racing. FACTUAL REPORTING AT THE TIME NOT RETREAD HISTORY - 90 YEARS OLD A BICYCLE CHAMPION FOR TWENTY FOUR YEARS This is story as originally written. There were many great stories published about the early beginning of the recognition of– the common ones show up every day but the rarer ones never make it. This is a collector’s item and very hard to find. I hunt them out cause really the better, untold and rarer stories were published in the rest. Here’s one of the best. Following my retirement, I have dedicated my remaining hours to indexing the images and text of folks who have contributed to our bicycling memorabilia. During my research, I discovered that thousands of our kinfolk lay unfound and unrecognized on some book dealer’s shelf. Because Old Memorabilia was printed before computer indexing, I index every item I sell. This complete index will be bound and included in this offering at no additional cost. I hope you appreciate the effort. A BICYCLE CHAMPION FOR TWENTY FOUR YEARS Folks, sooner or later – Genealogists are going to realize that their family kinfolks are laying on some dealer’s dusty shelves. If I can contribute to finding one little name or photo of that long lost ancestor you have been waiting to find, it’s worth all the time I spend. As a tribute to the honor of our American Ancestors, Forefathers, Soldiers, and our Native American Indians, my indexed listings will include all names mentioned in the story from this time on.
