I had the privilege of meeting her when I was working with Bob Hope, and I almost couldn't talk when he introduced us back in the late sixties. We met again in 1997 at a PR event at the Rendevous Hotel in Los Angeles and I was so surprised that she remembered me. I told Francine initially I thought we had not met, and that I didn't remember her, but when she mentioned she dark hair back then it all came back to me. When Bob mentioned her name I apologized.Elegant was the perfect one word description for her! We had a short conversation as I had to leave,( not her), but not before I got to tell her that Francine and Jeannie Crain were the two most beautiful ladies I had ever seen or met. She smiled graciously and said "Thank You!" With that I had to leave for the NAMM Convention in Anaheim I was helping produce. I still have one photo that I will never sell!
