Description: Here's a nice Victorian pattern glass item called Lucere. The item is shown in a 1907 Fostoria Catalog. This is the 8" 1/2 Gallon Ice Pitcher as it was advertised. At 109 years old, it's a true Antique. Ware on the bottom is commensurate to it's age. It is in perfect condition with no chips or cracks and no stains or mineral deposit. On the side wall, about 2" from the bottom, there is a very thin 1/8" ring caused by many years of stirring Ice water with a metal spoon. It is a very thin ring and not noticeable but mentioned for accuracy. Using the zoom feature you may be able to see it in the photo. Early Fostoria pattern glass is usually quite massive. This is no exception for this Pitcher as it weighs 5 lbs. Any unusual white or dark spots shown in the photos are from camera glare. This will make a great accessory to any Victorian home. 33101348 Payment must be received within 3 business days.
