Description: For sale we have a fossil skull an oreodont from the genus Merycoidodon collected from our ranch in Sioux County, Nebraska. Found in the Chadron Formation of the white river group, this fossil dates back to the Eocene epoch. This oreodont skull has undergone minimal restoration, preserving its natural beauty and authenticity. A few larger cracks were filled and minor areas outlined in red in the last two photos show the minimal areas of restoration. This fossil skull measures approximately 8.25 x 5 x 3.2 inches, making it a striking display piece for any fossil enthusiast or collector.
