The backside of the bag has a large slip pocket, big enough for a kindle, etc (7" x 8.5"), and a zip around organizer, that has 5 credit card pockets and lots of room for other stuff. The outside front has 1 large zipper pocket that has 2 flap pockets outside of it that snap close, one pocket has a small vertical zipper pocket on the outside of it, and the other has a key clip on the outside of it.
