Description: Each bid is for a piece of amber containing a fossil, be it an insect or plant. 95% are insects. Each piece has been polished on a single face so that the inclusions can be seen. The rest of the surface is raw as found. These are our most affordable pieces of amber and although the insect may not have perfect placement they are clear to see. All the images show actual insects seen in these pieces indicating that despite any imperfections the bugs retain excellent details and can be readily viewed. A microscope is essential to properly view these specimens as a hand lens will not provide enough magnification to see all the preserved details. The display case measures ~3cm wide.
