The hood can roll up and tuck into a zippered pouch at the neck. The front zipper goes all the way up to the neck/collar, and there are two snaps at the top and one at the botto to close a panel over the zipper. There are drawstrings/locks on each side of the waist, as well, so that you can pull it tight.
