Born in Northern New Mexico, Paul spent most of his adult life in, or near Santa Fe. Paul Dan was a painter, photographer and world traveler. He loved nature and captured tens of thousands of remarkable images, on film and digitally. He often painted the images he photographed. For many years he made his living solely with his art and has been featured in Southwest Art Magazine, amongst other publications, and had his work represented in galleries from Juneau, Alaska, to Fort Meyers Beach, Florida, and in one-man shows in Santa Fe, Denver, and Dallas.
