The compote measures 8" across the top and 7-1/4" tall. It has a victorian/floral motif around the top and edges. I believe this is from the late 1800's. There is no date on the piece, but it is monogrammed: Alice from Uncle William. All the black spots are tarnish on the compote. It does have some dings and dents in the piece.
