Footed Ferner bowl planter, American Brilliant Cut Glass Crystal Garland Central

Description: This is an Antique Cut Glass "Ferner", which is a footed Bowl or planter. Nice good size for cabinet display or useThis is 7-1/2" wide top rim by 4-5/8" tall.It is from the American brilliant period, (about 1870 to 1920). This has a great pattern of Hobstars and other geometrics. Not a lot of patterns were cut on Ferner shapes, and this is one of the better designed flashier patterns to collectors.It is called the Garland pattern by Central cut glass co.This has the cut 3 peg feet on bottom, and a thick high quality blank. this piece is heavy for the size.Condition: This is is good condition for its age of 100 years old. Minor imperfections in the rim and blank seems to be from the way its made by molding the piece first then cutting. The feet on bottom are not damaged and it sits sturdy.
