Description: This Santa is made of burlap that's been stiffened with Mod Podge, starch, or a similar treatment. The fabric of the hat, flag, and body won't lose their shape. He's handpainted and carries a moon on a chain. He's handpainted with a coat covered in stars to match his primitive style American flag, and the robe is trimmed in a twisted embroidery thread. The body is filled with something like rice so it has weight to it to keep it upright and steady, but I picked this up from an estate sale so it's unclear what the filling may be.
