Description: Flying Pig Nosecone For Model Rocket kits fits BT-60. Can you make a pig fly? This is a 3D printed, resin nose cone for model Rocket kitbashingor scratch building. This nose cone is printed in an "ABS-like" resin which is UV, heat and shatter resistant. This resin sands easy and takes paint well. This nose cone is hollow and comes with a two-part, plywood bulkhead that glues in the back allowing you to add nose weight. You can drill the center for a screw-eye, or drill two holes and loop a section of Kevlar through it for an anchor. This is an auction for the unfinished nosecone and bulkhead only. There are no tubes or other rocket parts included. I have successfully test flown this nosecone on a clone of the Estes Star Orbiter. The motor used was an E12-4. The rocket flew straight with no visible ill-effects of the flight and the nosecone landed undamaged. It is still up to you to determine if your design is stable, but I know it can be done.
